Unforgettable experiences perfectly organized

At Selva Connections, everything is just perfect and you feel in good hands from the start. We booked a mangrove kayak tour with bioluminescence and a 2-day tour in Corcovado National Park. The communication from Germany was excellent and we even had a briefing in advance via video call. When we arrived in Puerto Jimenez, Paola and Mitch took care of everything and prepared us well for the tours. The two of them are simply wonderful! Helpful, friendly, competent and perfectly organized. They always had an open ear and supported us in all matters relating to our stay. Both tours were beautiful and very well planned. We learned an incredible amount about the region, the wonderful nature and the people there. We will never forget the impressions we were able to collect. Corcovado National Park is a unique place with untouched nature. Many thanks to Paola and Mitch for the unforgettable experiences. We will definitely try to come again.

Unforgettable experience at Corcovado

We did a 2-day excursion to Corcovado with a night in La Sirena and return on foot via La Leona. We are super happy, we saw a lot of animals. Our guide Maikel was very kind and gave us a lot of information about animals and plants. The organization was quick and efficient! Everything went great and we highly recommend a trip to Corcovado!

An incredible experience in the jungle

My husband and I had an amazing experience on our tour of Corcovado National Park with Selva Connections. Mitch and Paola were super helpful as we were researching the trip, answering all our questions quickly and thoroughly. Then, our guide, Henry, was absolutely incredible throughout the trip. He saw, heard and sensed countless animals, birds and insects and got them in his spotting scope quickly to maximize our views. He also used my phone to take many photos through his scope so that we came home with incredible photos that we would never have been able to get on our own. We were both looking forward to this trip, but we never expected to see sooooo much!.... Staying out at the lodge was a special treat. The bunks were surprisingly comfortable and it was wonderful listening to the sounds of the jungle as we were falling asleep and waking up the next morning.

Selva made our trip easy to plan and always answered any questions promptly!

Selva connections is an absolute delight. From the moment we connected over WhatsApp to the last minute where we left them after our trip, I can’t find a single fault to pin point. Our guide, Antony (Tony) was absolutely fantastic! The zeal towards the nature, the friendly demeanor, the enthusiasm, friendliness and of course the knowledge of the reserve, we were blown away! We wish him all the very best! Can’t recommend enough!

"Selva" means jungle in Spanish, and we’re dedicated to connecting our guests with the wonders of the rainforest and the warmth of the cultures and communities that live among and surround it. Sustainability and conservation are our core values, which shine through our exclusive "Remote Osa" adventure tour packages. We believe in alleviating the strain on the over-visited areas in the Osa Peninsula like Corcovado National Park, where the impacts of massive visitation are becoming increasingly pronounced while nearby communities barely see the benefits from the tourism opportunities. With Remote Osa, we prioritize coexistence, nature, and culture, while providing enriching experiences in less-explored, pristine destinations nestled in the heart of the Osa Peninsula while empowering our local people and communities.
